Hana Sakazuki
Hana Sakazuki evokes the essence of Japanese Noh theatre from the entrance onward. Inspired by this 14th-century performing art, designers crafted an immersive journey—guests pass through a “mirror room” that recalls a preparatory stage, traverse a sakura-lined “bridgeway,” and finally enter intimate, stage-like dining rooms where chefs perform with theatrical flair, blending tradition and culinary spectacle.
The restaurant was realised through a close collaboration with Greyscale, with the design vision led by Sinesse Studio. Inspired by the narrative of Noh theatre, we crafted a concept where spatial composition, materiality, and detailing converge to shape a refined and immersive dining experience. The collaboration delivered a restaurant where narrative and craftsmanship are seamlessly intertwined.
Thanks to meticulous attention to detail, outstanding craftsmanship, and exquisite finishes, the project has been recognised internationally with multiple awards. These distinctions celebrate not only the aesthetic quality of the design but also the collaborative spirit and dedication that brought it to life.
